A practical introduction to understanding and regulating your nervous system
This small group is for people who are new to body-based approaches and want to understand how stress and trauma affect the nervous system.
The focus is practical and educational. Working in a group setting allows participants to observe their own nervous system responses in relationship to others and to practise regulation in real time.
In this group we explore:
• How stress and trauma are held in the body
• How to recognise signs of nervous system dysregulation
• How to identify your own patterns of activation and shutdown
• Practical ways to return to regulation
Participants learn to track internal sensations, notice shifts in state, and build the capacity to stabilise themselves in everyday life.
Important to know
This is not a therapy group.
It is a structured introduction to nervous system regulation in a small-group learning environment. Personal trauma processing is not the focus here and is usually better suited to individual therapy.
Joining the group
If you are interested in participating, please add your details to the interest list.
Groups are scheduled once a viable cohort has formed, and you will be contacted with proposed dates.
