When the nervous system remains in survival mode for too long, it can show up as anxiety, depression, shutdown, overwhelm, chronic tension, persistent physical symptoms such as pain, fatigue, or digestive difficulties, addictive patterns, or repeating ways of thinking, behaving and relating that no longer serve you — yet may feel difficult to understand or change.

I offer somatic, trauma-informed psychotherapy that supports nervous system regulation and the gradual unwinding of long-held survival responses.

With an emphasis on somatic integration, our work centres on helping you learn to listen to your body — not just your mind. Coming back into the body and living from this inner centre is what we call embodiment. It is where the body can begin to release entrenched survival patterns and restore a natural sense of regulation and vitality.

I am a registered counselling psychologist, working with a range of body-oriented approaches including Somatic Experiencing®, EMDR, BWRT, TRE® and breathwork. I see adults in Simon’s Town and Online, serving clients from across the Deep South of Cape Town,  including Fish Hoek, Noordhoek, Kommetjie, Kalk Bay and Scarborough.

Based in Simon’s Town, I work with clients across the Deep South, including Glencairn, Fish Hoek, Noordhoek, Kommetjie, Kalk Bay and Scarborough, as well as online.
